Meet Hugo!

Hello, I'm Hugo, I’m a handsome 3-year-old Mastiff mix with the heart of a softie and the size of a gentle giant. At 56kg, I’m definitely a big boy, but underneath it all I’m just a loving, affectionate goofball who wants nothing more than to be part of the family.

One of my favourite things in the world is heading out on adventures. I absolutely love meeting new people, exploring new places, and taking in all the sights and smells. Whether it’s a countryside walk, a trip to the park, or a stroll to the vets, I’m happiest when I’m out making memories with my favourite humans.

Because I’m such a big lad, I can be strong on the lead if I get excited, but I wear my Halti and it helps me walk beautifully. With it on, I’m happy to stroll along nicely and enjoy the journey, and I’d love a family who will continue helping me with my training and confidence.

I adore a fuss and I’m a true Mastiff at heart – expect lots of leaning, cuddles, and attempts to convince you that I’m actually a lap dog! I have so much love to give and I’m looking for someone who’ll let me be their loyal best friend.

I’m a sociable boy who loves other dogs and could potentially live with a similar-sized, well-matched canine companion who enjoys a good play session. Because of my size, I’m looking for an adult-only home, and I’d prefer a cat-free one too, as I find them a little too interesting!

I’ve been waiting for my forever home for far too long now, and everyone here agrees that I really deserve a family of my own. If you’re experienced with larger breeds and looking for a kind-hearted, adventure-loving companion who will repay you with endless loyalty and affection, I might just be the missing piece of your family.
